About the Players
Since our inception and organization in 1982, the Lake of the Woods Players has been contributing to the cultural enrichment of the community. This dedicated group has continued to grow and flourish over the years.
The organization produces two shows during the year in the spring and fall. Almost all members are involved in one or more aspects of the presentation. In addition to the actors, behind-the-scene chores are many, involving properties, wardrobe, makeup, lighting, audio, publicity, ticket sales, ushering, etc.
The Players welcome newcomers whether they are "star material," stage crew volunteers, or just individuals with an affinity for the theatre. You do not have to live in Lake of the Woods to become involved with The Players or see our productions. Come join us. The Players meet the second Wednesday of the month in the Lake of the Woods Community Center meeting room, 110 Sweetbriar Park Rd, Locust Grove, VA 22508

Supporting the Community
LOW Players Raise Funds for LOWLINC Organization
On August 1st & 2nd, 2025 the Lake of the Woods Players performed “Murder in the HOA” at the Clubhouse to benefit LOWLINC. We would like to thank all of those who came out to show their support.
LOW Players are excited to share that we were able to raise $6400 to be donated to LOWLINC. All proceeds from the event went to their organization.
